I wanted to share a very useful technique to build review into your day in a matter of fact manner. British Educator Charlotte Mason has some simple yet profound suggestions for mothers in her books and narration is something we have generously used. 

It is such a natural way to review and it fits perfectly in the home setting. In fact my husband has been asking me to have them 'retell' for many years and he uses it quite generously without ever knowing that it could be used as a teaching tool....
